NEC Xn120 - Our Hybrid Phone System

HYBRID SYSTEMS - Analogue, ISDN and/or IP in One Package

"A Sophisticated Telephone Communication System Made Simple"

For too long, the most powerful and innovative telephone systems have only been within the reach of large corporations.   With the new NEC Xn120, this is no longer the case. Designed to satisfy the growing needs of small and medium sized businesses and organisations, this is a professional, flexible and easy to use voice communication system, at a cheap price which gives real value and makes perfect sense.

Investment Protection - Hybrid Advantages

Are you about to buy a new phone system that will become obsolete?   The hybrid architecture of the NEC-Xn120, not only gives you virtually all of the features of a phone system you could ask for, it offers you the opportunity to migrate from traditional analogue and ISDN lines, to IP technology, as and when you decide.   This small business phone system can handle analogue, ISDN and IP line signals.   It offers you investment protection, by being the only SME telephone system capable of connecting to the network using SIP (session initiated protocol - the main standard for business class VoIP).  The NEC Xn120 will reduce the cost of phone system ownership.

Initial Configuration

VoIP headsets Start as small as 3 trunks (i.e. - 3 inbound lines) plus 8 hybrid extensions.

The NEC-Xn120 can provide CLI (caller line identity) to all phones, allowing either the caller's name, or telephone number to be displayed.  The system also has a built-in call director, allowing calls to be distributed evenly to assigned staff, or in a priority order.  Calls can be queued or directed to a voicemail facility.  The CTI module allows the system to be linked to the main computer network, offering integration with customer databases, accounts, and other applications.  Your choice of music-on-hold can be set-up.

The system can be extended in one cabinet, to include 9 inbound lines, or 16 ISDN2 channels; up to 24 extensions can be configured.  If a larger voice network is needed, a second or a third cabinet can be incorporated (51 exchange lines and 72 extensions).  If IP extensions are included, the number rises to 96.

VoIP is now mainstream!
