MOBILE PHONES CONTRACTS & PURCHASE

Mobile Phones for Business

Mobile phones are an essential tool for business.  Usage is increasing year-on-year at the expense of traditional fixed line telephony.  Developments in the form of the Blackberry or OfficeWRXOpenHand Nokia E PDAs (personal digital assistant), or the 3G datacard for laptop or notebook computers, now enable you to receive voice, e-mail, GPS sat nav or data and to connect to to your office network via the internet whilst out of the office or even overseas.  New laptops are now offered with built-in datacards.  It is even possible to receive streaming video in the street.

Polaris Telecoms can provide a complete mobile solution for business users with the latest Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung or Motorola mobile handsets, in-car installation, sat-nav systems and Blackberry and 3G datacards.  OfficeWRX provides e-mail on the move and is a new competitor to the Blackberry service.  It allows you to choose your own smartphone or PDA style device, together with a data download package provided from your current mobile network provider. .  We offer competitive tariffs for all business users, whether an individual, a family business or a large organisation.

International Mobile Roaming with PASSport and Oneroam

Save up to 85% on International Mobile Calls and Receive most calls for FREE

The cost of making and receiving mobile calls when you are abroad can be horrendous. Polaris Telecoms have partnered with Oneroam, a specialist provider of international mobile communications, to create PASSport - the Polaris Anywhere Super SIM. The super SIMcard enables businesses and individuals to make huge savings on their mobile connections when outside the UK - both voice and SMS texts. (Link to the PASSport page - see below).

For travellers to the USA, the international mobile market is slightly different, and Polaris offer the JOLT SIM card (Link to JOLT page - see below), which provides very similar cost savings to the PASSport with Oneroam card.

Mobile network Carriers in the UK

The five main carriers each have different attributes which may make their business plans more appropriate to your particular business activity and the nature of your operation.  For example, Vodafone plans to lead the way with free internal calls within one business, both fixed and mobile numbers, or you may do a lot of work in Europe, in which case T-Mobile have business plans which are more economic for this type of work.  Polaris Telecoms can advise you on the different options that are available, and which are likely to work best for you.
